On a sunny California Sunday, we drove about 40 minutes up to Castro Valley uniting with some of the old family friends in a time of prayer and worship at Providence Church, a very cozy fellowship poised to outreach the Castro Valley community with a simple but strong principle of "God Loves You." In fact, today's sermon from Pastor John Kim was on God Who Saves based on the book of Isaiah in the Old Testament where he emphasized that as he studies the Old Testament's prophets, he is touched much more deeply of how much God loves us.
The church meets at the Castro Valley Adult School's campus.
Many of the classrooms are converted into the main sanctuary and Sunday School rooms. There are a couple of families and some singles pouring out their hearts to be faithful to God's calling.
Every first Sunday of the month, the members recommit their walk with God through a Communion Service.
